Drew Berlin
Drew Berlin started playing guitar and singing at age five in Tennessee and by age
eighteen was performing on world tours with rock and roll icon Little Richard. He
shared the stage with The Grateful Dead, Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Taj Mahal, B.B. King,
Chuck Berry, Hot Tuna, Dr. John, Badfinger, Jerry Marsda, Ron Wood, Jerry Lee Lewis,
Bo Diddley, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, It's a Beautiful Day, Iron Butterfly, Rare Earth,
Grand Funk Railroad, Blues Image, and many more.

Drew Berlin was the founding member of the San Francisco based underground punk
band Freestone. He then formed the pop rock band The Rockerfellers in Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida. Moving back to L.A. in 1988, he rejoined Little Richard for the
Legends of Rock and Roll tour playing sixty thousand seat arenas. In 1990 Drew
formed another band, Hot Tin Roof.

In 1997 Drew was featured in the I.B.M. series of tv commercials as "The Guitar Guy"
that aired world wide.

He has shared the stage with The Grateful Dead ,Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Taj Mahal, B.
B. King, Chuck Berry, Hot Tuna ,Dr. John, Badfinger ,Ron Wood, Jerry Lee Louis, Bo
Diddley, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, Iron Butterfly, Rare Earth, Grand Funk Railroad,
Slash, Sam Kinison, John Entwhitsle and many more.

His love and passion for vintage guitars started in the 1960’s. While on the road, he
began playing, collecting, buying, and selling Vintage guitars.

In March 1995, Drew Berlin was asked to bring his skills and experience to the newly
opened Vintage room at the Guitar Center in Hollywood.  Within days, he teamed up
with Dave Belzer who had been with Guitar Center for many years.
In the first week of working together, they realized that they shared the same overall
goal of putting the best guitars in the hands of the  people who appreciated it the
most.
